Well, our little one is here, almost 8 weeks early. We rapidly welcomed her into the world on Thursday September 25th at 4:56pm weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces and measuring 19 inches long! After receiving my blood work back on Wednesday my doctor admitted me into the hospital for a 48hr observation. While at the hospital in Santa Rosa my condition worsened and it was decided quickly to move me and baby to San Francisco CPMC, where they have high risk OBs and a great NICU. Right when we arrived we were told that we would be delivered immediately C-section and we moved quickly into surgery. We had a great team, the nurses and doctors were amazing and our care here has been wonderful. I will be discharged tonight and Gianna will hopefully be moved from here back to the Santa Rosa NICU sometime this week. She is doing GREAT!! Eating from a bottle and breathing with very little oxygen now! I too am feeling better and gaining strength each day. We could not be happier to have her here and have us both healthy.
