We had a very nice 4th of July weekend. Yesterday, on the 4th, we spent the day on the Sonoma Square. The city of Sonoma puts on a great celebration, very focused on the kids!! There was a great parade which kicked things off at 10am and the Square was filled with games and vendors to explore, like a giant street fair. After the Parade and festivities on the Square, we went and grabbed a bite of food and then at around 3:30 we headed home. It was the perfect amount of time out in the hot weather and Gianna enjoyed all the fun!
We also took the boat down the Estero this weekend. The weather has been so warm here on the coast so we took the opportunity to head down to the Beach on July 3rd! The Estero Americano runs through our property here and we have a flat bottom boat that we can put right in the water and head down a couple miles to our very own private beach! This was Gianna's first trip on the boat. She loved it! She would even stand up near the front with her arms straight to her sides like she was flying, I never let go of course, but she was not frightened at all. I was very surprised, because she is still unsure of swings and the motorcycle that Daddy drives on the ranch. She cries every time he gets on it and she hears the engine start. But, the boat was no problem! We were very happy!!
Also, these past two months I have been helping my dear friends Marc and Renee with their cherry business at local Farmer's Markets. On Wednesday last week, we had our last Market and Gianna and Jarrid joined me in Petaluma. It was a lot of fun to have them there and Gianna loved setting up camp in the back of our car. She watched her videos, played with her toys and watched the people pass for 3 hours. Then Daddy took her home for bed around 7pm, and I finished up. Thanks to Marc and Renee for the fun cherry experience, it was so much fun, I can’t wait till next year!!!!
