My big girl!

Lately, Gianna has been growing up "right before my very eyes!"  She is becoming more and more independent and having much more of an "opinion" of things! Not sure if I love that part, but I am happy to see her finally asserting herself! :)  She keeps us laughing constantly.  Some of her many fun sayings these days are:  "Hi Mama" "Where's Da Da?" "Look at that!" "Oh no!" "There ya go!"  "Good Job!"  "YOGI! SIT!"  "Here we go!"  "Oh Toodle!"  "Backpack, backpack!"  "Swipper no swippy!" "Oh Man!" and so on..... as you can see the Disney Channel is helping with her vocabulary as well!!  She loves to tell you all her body parts and point out yours, and she loves to do shapes, colors and animals, so her words are just exploding right now!  I was worried for a period of time when she was not saying as much as other kids her age, well now we have nothing to worry about as she chats to us all day long!  She also loves to sing.  Songs like Twinkle Twinkle, The Wheels on the Bus and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes are among her favorites!  She really loves music, and dancing!  Whenever we put on music she dances around the living room bobbing her head back and forth with the beat! (I really need to get this on video).  Gianna also loves to give everyone big hugs and now likes to plant a big wet kiss on your lips, so watch out next time we visit you!!! :)
At Gianna's most recent 2 Year Doctor's appointment she weighed 27 pounds and is about 34 inches tall.  She is still in the 90th percentile for head size!  She is still a great sleeper, heading off to bed between 7:30pm and 8pm and getting up at about 7am in the morning, so no complaints there! Her eating has become more of a challenge, she is very picky now days.  Its really dinner time when we struggle, she loves breakfast.  She really doesn't like to eat meat and would love to only have pasta and almond butter and jelly sandwiches everyday.  So, I find myself finding creative ways to get veggies into the pasta dishes, and she has black beans nearly every night.  I've also been making her little smoothies with protein so that seems to work too.  Whatever the princess wants! :)

Below, I posted some pics of my little girl doing some new big girl things!  She is so sweet and we still find something new and exciting about her everyday, she is fascinating to be around and I feel so blessed to be her Mother!!  I love you BIG G!
