The Bordessa Family: Happy 3rd Birthday Gianna!

Today was a special day, Gianna turned THREE! It seems like a flash, especially now that we have her baby brother due in just 5 weeks!! She continues to be an amazing little girl who makes us feel lucky to be her parents. They say the God gives you only what you can handle, well He handed us an angel after our ordeal with bringing her into this world, and we are extremely grateful each and every day. She is compassionate, cautious, funny and kind. And as her teacher at school told us at back to school night last week, "one of the happiest little girls she has ever known!!" I absolutely melted from that compliment! Lately she has a blossoming imagination, she is constantly telling me stories about airplanes, pirates, robots, her babies and trains. She has been using the potty since July, nice to have a quick break in diapers before baby boy arrives. She loves to sing and dance, and catches a beat to a song very fast. She loves "dancing music" as she calls it, and we rock out in the car everyday!! She can count to 18 by herself and sings her ABCs and her vocabulary is booming. This week she started to take showers and prefers them over a bath now, its so cute to see her in that big shower, she is very proud of herself. Gianna continues to be a great sleeper, down by 8pm and up around 7am. She continues to take an afternoon nap, but some days she doesn't think its needed anymore, so we will see how long those last. Our next doctors appointment is in October, I cant wait to see how much she has grown this year.

Gianna loves trains, so today we took her to Train Town in Sonoma with some of her friends and family. We had a great time and it was just perfect for her age group! Here are some pictures from our day!
