The Bordessa Family: Gianna Leigh update....

Gianna has been doing great!! A few colds and ear infections, but otherwise very healthy considering all she has been through. We have our next UCSF appointment on June 7th, so we're anxious to see how her kidneys and blood work will look.
She has loved Preschool this year, doing so well as one of the youngest in her class. Her teachers say that she excels at matching, shapes and puzzles. All things that signify good math skills, she must get that from Jarrid! lol!! We are so proud of course! She also loves to paint at school and she brings us home many "works of art" that we proudly showcase above her bed! Her school put on a Spring Show a few weeks ago, it was adorable!! They sang songs to the parents that they had been rehearsing for weeks, she loved that!!
Gianna is also now sleeping in her big girl bedroom. I've had the room done since Davis was born but she had no interest in it until now. So she's been sleeping in the same bedroom as Davis because she didn't want to be away from him. Well, I guess she decided that he was old enough for her to leave him alone, because one day out of the blue she told me she was ready for her new room, so cute!!
She is growing like a weed these days too. She is now 35 pounds and 39 inches tall. She also is in a "dress" phase, demanding to only wear dresses, and she must show me which dress she wants to wear every morning. Sometimes we compromise on leggings and a top, but often you'll see her in a dress nowadays !! She wears a size 9 shoe now and is quickly growing out if that size too!
She has a great imagination still and loves to play school and doctor. We are constantly being told " mommy listen to me" "daddy look at me" or " put your phone down! " oops!! :). She's in charge around here!
I must enroll her in dance this year, she really enjoys performing and dancing to music. So when she is 4 there are several options, so that's our plan. For now it's swim lessons for the summer, and play time at My Little Farm. She loves her time outside playing with all her friends!
