We turn 30, and Pommy comes to visit for a week!!

WOW!! What a week we have had!! It started on May 12th with Jarrids 30th Birthday which we celebrated at home with fish tacos and homemade cheesecake. Then the next day was my 30th Birthday on May 13th!! My Mom (Pommy) arrived around noon and we spent the afternoon outside playing with Gianna and enjoying the unusually warm weather that day! That evening Jarrid BBQ-ed Oysters and we drank Champagne, that was all I really wanted on my birthday, it was perfect! My Mom spent a whole week with us, and we pretty much planned a fun activity everyday, it was so special. I loved having her here!! On Friday we took Gianna to her MyGym class and then went to Costco to stock up for the week, then visited with friends in the afternoon. Then on Saturday we went to the nursery and planted all kinds of new plants in our yard, I certainly appreciated her help with that, she has such a green thumb. That night was our 30th Birthday Party with 33 of our close friends at BRIXX in Petaluma.

Sunday was mostly spent recovering from our BIG night out, but we did manage a trip to the outlets, and Jarrid went spearfishing and had great success so we had fresh fish that night, which was nice. Monday, we headed to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. It is a great place to visit, with a real indoor Rain forest, Planetarium, Aquarium, Penguins and so much more to see, we will certainly be going back there!! On Tuesday, we headed to Healdsburg to explore the Town Square and we had a great lunch there. Wednesday was back to Gianna's MyGym class in the morning then to Sushi with Nico and Renee for lunch, and then that evening we went over to Napa to see my Brother's Family for dinner. Thursday, we just explored a local winery and gift shop in Sebastopol and then Pommy headed to Napa to stay with Mitch and the kids for the night, so off she went!! We were so sad to say Goodbye, it was the best week ever!!
