A new gift and the puppies get their names...

Yvette is continuing to be a good mama, but more and more she is venturing upstairs to spend time with us and have a break from her babies. They are becoming more and more active and their eyes just opened this week! They all weigh about 3 pounds now and are doing great. They also received their official names from CCI this week. Yvette's litter letter was "O". CCI has a "name bank" that they pull names from, but they also let the Breeder Caretakers help name the pups as well. We really struggled with female names as all the common ones like Olivia, Olive, Opal, etc. were taken, so we had to get creative. But, they did end up using all of the names we submitted except for one which they selected to honor someone who is a Donor to CCI (Oltman).

Oracle : yellow female with Red collar

O'ReilyII: black female with Blue collar

Ojai III: black female with Purple collar

Oltman: yellow male with Green collar

Ozzy: yellow male with Neon Pink collar

Oso III: black male with Brown collar

Oakley II: black male with Light pink collar

This week, Gianna also received an early birthday present from Pommy and Papa, a new table and chairs just her size! Since it was at COSTCO now, my Dad made sure we got it before they were all gone! She is really enjoying it! She wants to eat her meals there now and loves to color and read her books. She can also look out the window and see Daddy go back and forth in his trucks and tractors, which she loves, and always waves to him (or anyone) as they pass. So this has been a fun new addition to the house, thank you Pommy and Papa!
