SNOW!!!

We had SNOW in Napa, Sonoma and Marin Counties this week!  Such a beautiful sight to see all of our local hills covered in SNOW!  So, yesterday we took advantage of the snow being so close and we drove over to Calistoga and up 29 towards Middletown /Lakeport.  Once we started to climb the hills we hit snow pretty fast and could pull over anywhere and play.  There were hillsides that kids and parents had made into temporary sledding parks, and hundreds of people were enjoying the rarely seen snow!  Gianna thought it was pretty neat stuff too, she really liked when we made little snow balls and allowed her to throw them.  I sure wish the snow was always this easy to get too, what a special treat.  After our mountain experience we headed down to St. Helena for a great lunch at Taylor's Refresher (now know as Gott's Roadside), one of our favorite spots.  The line was a mile long as usual, but it was worth the wait!  It was really great to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine after a week of rain and being sick.  I am looking forward to a healthy week ahead!
