Well, obviously I have been too busy to BLOG, its been a whole month!! Wow! March started off with a business trip back to Cincinnati for a full week. It was hard to be away for so long, but I was happy to know Gianna was in such excellent care with Pommy! My mom came up and stayed the whole week with Jarrid and Gianna and it was really a special week for Gianna, as she had Pommy all to her self! They went to the Park everyday and still to this day she asks to go to the Park with Pommy every morning when she wakes up, so cute. When I returned home we had a fundraiser to attend for Savannah's school in Yountville on Saturday night, the whole family attended, it was so fun and they raised $91,000, amazing! Kandice was on the committee this year and she did an great job organizing all of the auction items and many other tasks, she worked so hard on it all, but it paid off! Jarrid and I even "won" a night away at a B&B in Yountville we cant wait to use it. Then on Monday March 12th Gianna visited the dentist for the first time, she did great and actually loved all the instruments that they used in her mouth, she was an excellent patient they said. The Children's Dentist we go to is pretty unique, its in this picturesque location in Sebastopol, and you feel like you are entering a ride at Disneyland or something when you walk through the small framed wooden door, Gianna did not want to leave because there are so many fun things to play with and explore. The following weekend we headed to San Francisco for Nico's 2nd Birthday Party at the Aquarium of the Bay next to Pier 39. It was a great location for a party, the kids loved the aquarium and they received lots of great party favors, wonderful job Marc and Renee, we had so much fun!! After the party we headed to Tiburon to hang out with Sam and Lisa who were still awaiting the arrival of their first baby, we had a great dinner at Pearls in Mill Valley. Well, the burger must have been the trick because the next morning SHE arrived!! Lilia Valtenbergs made her debut on Sunday March 20th weighing in at 9 pounds 6 oz and 21.5 inches long, Lisa you're my hero!! They are all doing great and are now home, we cant wait to meet her!!
This month we also have a new addition to the farm, 3 chicks!! They are laying hens, so soon we will have fresh eggs, cant wait! Gianna loves her new "pets" and their adoring names are Boots, Dora and Elmo, awesome!
