Wisconsin 2011...

On Mother's Day weekend we headed to Wisconsin to visit Paul and Hilary Zimmerman.  They moved back there last year to run a family dairy that Hilary's Dad owns. They plan on being back there for at least 5 years. We hope that they will come back West after that, we sure miss them!!  Their daughter Kennedy is one year younger than Gianna and they had a ball playing together.  Hilary is due with their next child in June, so there will be more reasons to visit soon!!  It was wonderful to see where they call home nowadays.  We arrived Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee and then drove to their home in Brodhead.  The next day we went to a Farmers Market in downtown Madison and had a great lunch on the square.  Then we toured the University of Wisconsin, and checked out all the beautiful Sorority and Fraternity houses all situated right on the lake, so nice!  The next day we did some dairy tours and had a Mother's Day brunch in a very quaint swiss village.  And then Monday we headed home.  It was a quick trip, but well worth it.  Paul and Hilary were fabulous hosts and we loved spending time in their new home!!  Cant wait to visit again one day!

Looks like you had a great trip! Maybe... you could start a "Day Trips for Moms - around the US" list for when we all travel! ;)

I wanted to let you know that I passed the Versatile Blogger Award on to you! Congrats, friend!
