Valentines Day Picture 

Nonnie 

This was yet another sad and trying month for us!! First off and most importantly we lost Jarrid's sweet Nonnie, Janet Bordessa.  She was 82 and had been up and down with her health the past 2 years, but most recently she was doing very well, so it was such a surprise when she landed in the hospital and we were told she was dying and didn't know how many days she had left.  We spent a long week with her in the hospital, visiting everyday trying to capture special moments with her before she passed.  I was so happy that she was alert during this time and could have this extra time with her loved ones.  She was able to return to her home and on Friday February 17th she passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.  Nonnie was a very special lady whom I loved like my own grandmother, I will miss her terribly, but I am at peace knowing she is in heaven reunited with her husband and son who was tragically taken at such a young age.  Nonnie thank you for teaching my husband manners and how to respect a woman, you were a very important piece of molding him into the man he is today, I will be forever grateful to you!  We love you and miss you!!

Then, we all got sick yes again!!!  This time with a virus called herpangina.  Its similar to Hand, Foot & Mouth virus and you can only have it once in your life, so we all got it of course!!  So there went another 2 weeks!  it causes sores in the mouth and throat and high fevers.  Pretty miserable, but we all survived and March has been about catching up on sleep!! haha!

The kids are doing great now and since feeling better we went down to Turlock for a visit with the Honore's and a play date with the Coldani kids and Nico Busalacchi and then we headed to Sacramento to visit some of my high school friends and the Lawrence's who have relocated there recently!  Everyone is in SAC now I swear!! It was so fun to get out on some road trips though, and see our friends!!

Lastly, Organic Valley is going to use our family picture for some advertisements, so they sent us a rough copy of one, I posted a pic below.... pretty exciting!!
